Corn to Ethanol Plant Planned for Illinois

2002-03-22 [] Siemens Energy & Automation of Alpharetta, Georgia, recently signed a deal with general contractor Lurgi PSI of Memphis, Tennessee to supply a range of power distribution equipment for a new ethanol plant to be built for Adkins Energy LLC, near the town of Lena, Illinois. The company will supply about US$300,000 in electrical apparatus to the 40 million gallon corn-to-ethanol plant, consisting of low and medium-voltage motor control centers, panel boards, switchboards, capacitors, and transformers.
