Corn Association Receives Industry Grant

July 1, 2003 [] The Colorado Corn Growers Association (CCGA) has recently received US$50,000 from the National Ethanol Vehicle Coalition (NEVC) for the advancement of the use of E85. The money will be used for new E85 infrastructure, promotion, and education of car retailers and dealers. According to CCGA, the plan is to install 80 new pumps along the front range of Colorado, mostly in Denver area over the next 12 to 18 months. There are presently nine E85 public fueling stations in the state including those in Aurora, Brush, Colorado Springs, Denver, Greeley, Lakewood, Pueblo, Watkins and Yuma.
