Clean Energy Pursues Run of the River Hydro Projects

Vancouver, BC, Canada [] Clean Energy Combustion Systems Inc. (CECU) entered into an agreement with Chilliwack Power Corporation to acquire water licenses for Chipmunk and Airplane Creeks in British Columbia’s Chilliwack region, to be developed with North Island Green Energy Ltd. Concurrent with fundraising efforts, Clean Energy will work with a local partner to pursue a CRCE flow-through offering to explore the feasibility of building a clean thermal electric plant. It is anticipated that this plant will maximize the deliverable power capacity from the above-mentioned Chilliwack projects and stabilize the megawatts delivered year-round, despite seasonal fluctuations in water levels.
