Citrus Waste to Ethanol

Florida is ripe with waste that could add significant resources to the cellulosic ethanol industry — citrus peels, membranes and seeds. David Stewart, President of Citrus Energy LLC in Boca Raton, Florida, tells us why citrus is such a great feedstock to work with and why his company is not facing as many challenges as others in the cellulosic ethanol industry.
