Canadian BioOil Plants Are On Schedule

December 26, 2003 [] Vancouver, British Columbia-based DynaMotive Energy Systems Corporation reported updates on two of its BioOil projects that are currently under development. The West Lorne BioOil Cogeneration Plant is progressing in accordance with schedule with 80 percent of plant components having now been ordered, representing in excess of CAD$7 Million (US$5.4 million), which amounts to 60 percent of the total project cost. With work on the key stainless steel vessels is well under way, the target completion date of April 2004 remains unchanged for the West Lorne Plant. DynaMotive Energy Systems Corporation also reported that key components and services have been ordered for a second BioOil small energy system plant; and this project is now under way with a location that will be announced in the near future. The total value of orders for the second project is placed is in excess of CAD$2.5 Million (US$1.9 million), which is 30 percent of the total project cost. Fabrication completion on the second project is expected for June or July 2004.
