California Regulators to Reallocate Funds for Emerging Renewables Program

As part of the August 2, 2006, Business Meeting, the California Energy Commission (CEC) will consider reallocating $45,058,246 to the Emerging Renewables Program (ERP) from a number of Renewable Energy Program funding sources (see link below). The reallocation of these funds will allow the ERP to continue making reservations and payments for the purchase and installation of renewable energy systems, and to avoid major market and funding disruptions through the remainder of the 2006 calendar year.
