Broin Opens 20th Ethanol Plant

[] A grand opening for the Voyager Ethanol plant in Iowa is scheduled for February 25. Voyager is the fourth ethanol plant project the Broin Companies of South Dakota have completed in the state of Iowa, and Broin’s 20th ethanol plant since its inception. Voyager Ethanol should consume almost 21 million bushels of corn annually from the regional area, and should produce 50 million gallons of ethanol. Broin Companies’ partner plants should exceed 700 million gallons annually by the summer of 2005. The company has built plants in five states, and provides turnkey development, design/build, management and product marketing services for their partner facilities.
