BioOil Cogeneration Project Licensed

[RenewableEnergyAccess.com] DynaMotive Energy Systems announced that the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) issued generation and retailer licenses for the West Lorne BioOil Cogeneration Limited Partnership. DynaMotive is a bio-oil manufacturer that uses pyrolysis, a high-heat low-oxygen combustion method, to extract and condense oils from biomass products. The three-year renewable licenses will allow the partnership to generate and sell electricity to Ontario customers who use more than 150 MWh annually. Erie Flooring has contracted to purchase 4,500 MWh of electricity annually from the facility. At full capacity the plant will generate approximately 20,000 MWh of electricity annually.
