Biomass Task Force Publishes Draft Recommendations

[] In the U.K., the Biomass Study Task Force, commissioned by Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and DTI, published a report with its emerging findings, containing draft recommendations to the government. Defra’s aim is sustainable development. The task force was set up in late 2004 to help government and industry maximize the contribution of biomass towards renewable energy targets while supporting sustainable farming, forestry and the rural economy.
