Biofuel Industries Group Begins Biodiesel Manufacturing Facility

Adrian, Michigan [] Biofuel Industries Group, LLC, began construction of a large biodiesel manufacturing plant on a site in Adrian that is Michigan’s first certified renewable energy zone. The plant will produce NextDiesel, an advanced ASTM-compliant commercial B100 biodiesel fuel. The 25-acre site will contain a $20 million state-of-the-art facility that will produce 20 million gallons per year of NextDiesel with the capability of expanding to 80 million gallons per year. The plant is expected to commence production of this renewable and sustainable fuel in June 2007.
