Bioenergy Europe 2006

[RenewableEnergyAccess.com] The focus of the Bioenergy Europe Conference held in London, UK, was on ethanol and biodiesel, biomass and biofuels co-firing and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. According to Joseph Murray, Green Energy Resources CEO, these renewables show a large market potential in the U.S. and Europe for his company, which was a sponsor of the event. Murray plans to capture a 20% market share of biomass imports by 2011. He addressed more than 100 delegates from the business, financial and power generation industry, including representatives from OPEC, Goldman Sachs International, German Renewable Energy Federation, HSBC Bank, Merrill Lynch Commodities Trading, RWE, EON and Cargill.
