Biodiesel Powers Country Musician’s National Tour

[RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Say what you will about celebrities, but a little celebrity plug can go a long way to promoting something. Renowned country musician Bonnie Raitt is fueling her two diesel-powered buses and two semis with environmentally friendly biodiesel (B20) fuel as she kicks off her yearlong U.S. tour. Raitt supports biodiesel because it contributes to the family farm – for example, soybean farmers have led the way in developing the U.S. biodiesel industry for more than 15 years. To raise funds to benefit nonprofit organizations working on alternative energy solutions, as well as the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, Raitt is auctioning benefit seats and opportunities to shows on her tour via www.CharityFolks.com.
