Bangor Hydro Working with PUC

April 15, 2002 [] Bangor Hydro officials need more time to convince the Maine Public Utilities Commission and others that their plans to lay off at least 150 people won’t affect the quality of service they give their customers, which could delay a decision on whether Bangor Hydro-Electric Co. should undergo an independent audit of its books and its organizational structure until the end of May. PUC analysts were to present the three commissioners with their recommendation Wednesday on whether Bangor Hydro should be audited.
