Arnold Schwarzenegger Pumps Up Fuel Cells

September 23, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] California Gubernatorial candidate Arnold Schwarzenegger unveiled his proposed energy policy, which calls for using technology developed and manufactured by Proton Energy Systems, a manufacturer of hydrogen generators and regenerative fuel cell systems. Schwarzenegger announced his environmental platform at an event in Santa Barbara, California, during which he highlighted Proton’s hydrogen generator, the HOGEN, which produces high purity hydrogen from water and electricity on demand at customer locations. The company said that when the electricity to run their hydrogen generators comes from solar, wind, or hydropower, a truly sustainable energy future can be achieved.
