Arizona Public Service Issues RFP for More Renewable Energy

Phoenix, Arizona [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Arizona Public Service (APS) has submitted a Request For Proposal (RFP) that includes solar, wind, hybrid wind and solar, biomass/biogas, landfill gas, hydropower, fuel cells that use renewable fuels and geothermal. The proposals are for near- and long-term new sources of renewable energy to be delivered to the company’s electrical system. Parties interested in the RFP are encouraged to attend the bidder’s conference, which is scheduled for March 14, 2007, at APS’ headquarters in Phoenix.
