Patrick Morand

Patrick L. Morand primarily practices in the areas of energy regulatory law and renewable energy development. Mr. Morand counsels energy clients, including electric utilities, competitive electricity suppliers, regional transmission organizations (RTOs), renewable energy developers, trade associations and financial institutions on regulatory matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), state public utility commissions, and other federal and state agencies. Mr. Morand also advises clients in the negotiation and drafting of renewable energy project agreements, including: power purchase agreements (PPA); engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) agreements; operations and maintenance (O&M) agreements; development agreements; and interconnection agreements. In addition, Mr. Morand’s practice includes representing private and public companies in a variety of corporate and commercial matters.
