Jessica Scott

Jessica leads Vote Solar's campaigns in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Nevada. She currently serves on the Distributed Generation and Storage Technical Advisory Committee for the Nevada Governor's New Energy Industry Task Force. She formerly worked for both the Denver's Mayor Office and Department of Environmental Health where she helped create a local government working group focused on intervening in energy dockets at the Colorado Public Utilities Commission. She also served as Director of Education for the U.S. Green Building Council Colorado Chapter, Director of Environmental Sustainability for Lewis and Clark Community College, and Director of Education for the National Great Rivers Research and Education Center. Jessica graduated from Swarthmore College with a degree in biology and environmental studies. When she's not advancing solar policy, Jessica can be found exploring the extensive trail systems near her home in Centennial, Colorado with her husband, Peter, and their energetic hound dog, Pippi.
