James Mueller

James Mueller is the Director of Research for the George Washington University (GW) Solar Institute, where he oversees the Institute's broad research agenda advancing pragmatic policy solutions for barriers to solar energy deployment. Prior to his current role, he was a policy advisor and John A. Knauss policy fellow for U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell and worked on a variety of bipartisan energy and environment initiatives. He holds undergraduate degrees in Mathematics, History, and Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame and a doctorate in Physical Ocean Science and Engineering from the University of Delaware.
