Mr. Vallin is a Shareholder in the law firm of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Denver office and member of the Real Estate Group. Mr. Vallin represents national, regional and local clients in real estate development, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing and financing. Mr. Vallin has represented Lennar, the country's largest homebuilder, in acquiring and developing large tracts of land into golf club communities, and premier residential communities throughout Colorado. Mr. Vallin has represented Corporate Express, one of the largest office supply distribution companies in the United States, with the acquisition and leasing of thousands of square feet of warehouse and flexible office/warehouse space. He has represented the largest Apartment Real Estate Investment Trust in the country with the acquisition and disposition of large apartment projects located throughout the United States. He has represented many national retail restaurant chains with the acquisition, development, leasing and financing of restaurant sites throughout the country, including Boston Market, Einstein Brothers' Bagels, Qdoba, Noodles & Company, the Keg, and Houlihans Restaurant Company. Mr. Vallin has also represented various shopping center developers with all aspects of financing, developing and leasing retail centers. In addition, he has represented developers of renewable energy projects in the western United States. Mr. Vallin has also represented land trusts and landowners in transactions involving the preservation of unique and scenic property through the use of conservation easements and other land preservation techniques. He negotiated and prepared the largest donated conservation easement in Colorado history. Previously, Mr. Vallin served as in-house real estate counsel for Boston Chicken, and as the director of real estate legal services for Einstein/Noah Bagel Corp. His work helped both companies accomplish their goals of being the fastest growing restaurant chains in the country. These experiences, plus his accomplishments at Brownstein, help Mr. Vallin bring a unique blend of practical business and technical real estate skills to his legal practice.
