AJ Jenkins is a Project Developer working out of Borrego Solar’s headquarters in San Diego, Calif. AJ’s focus is on developing solar power installations within California’s commercial high-tech industry, with the goal of incorporating renewable solar energy into the facilities of CA’s cutting edge technology manufacturing pioneers. His knowledge of both the implementation and economic considerations of photovoltaics, allows him to quickly identify the most ideal sites for solar, giving his customers a simple way to essentially increase revenue through considerable reductions in operating utility costs. Prior to joining the Borrego Solar Project Development team, AJ project managed the construction of the New Mississippi River Bridge in St. Louis, Missouri; the 3rd largest cable stay bridge in the US and a joint venture with Massman, Traylor, and Alberici. He’s developed, procured, and constructed high-rise super structures and large municipal infrastructure projects in the United Arab Emirates (IE: Sheik Zayed Bridge, Nations Towers, Presidential Palace, Yas Marina, Guggenheim Museum), and in the United States as well (NY’s World Trade Center, Peoria Museum, Clearwell Waste Water Treatment Plant). Mr. Jenkins earned his Bachelor’s degrees in Statistics and Business Administration from University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and conducted his Matrix Sales training in Dubai.
