Adedoyin Adeleke

Adedoyin Adeleke is a renewable energy researcher and the founder of the International Network for African Development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University and a multidisciplinary Master’s degree in Energy Studies with specialisation in renewable energy from University of Ibadan, both in Nigeria. Adedoyin has received numerous awards for his academic excellence including the Federal Government (of Nigeria) Undergraduate Scholarship Award that sponsored his undergraduate education and the MacArthur Foundation(USA) Grant Scholarship which funded his Master’s degree program. He has also received various fellowships which funded his participation at the 69th UNEP/UNESCO/BMUB Intenational Short Course on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiecny in Germany, summer school on “Sustainable Energetics for Africa” in Burkina Faso and Knowledge Sharing Workshop on Comprehensive Energy Solution Planning in Tanzania, among others.
