Plug-and-play solar power system relies on high-efficiency panel, integrated BOS components

ONYX has received several prototypes of its Plug-and-Play solar power system. The product uses a newly sourced 280W high-efficiency solar panel, micro-inverter, and high-capacity battery designed into the solar panel.

November 14, 2011 – BUSINESS WIRE — Onyx Service & Solutions Inc. (OTCQB:ONYX) reports that its development partner has shipped the first several prototypes of ONYX?s Plug-N-Play solar power system.

The product uses a newly sourced 280W high-efficiency solar panel, micro-inverter, and high-capacity battery designed into the solar panel. ONYX reports that this balance of systems (BOS) integration simplifies installation in most circumstances, targeting homeowners, for example.

The prototype systems have been developed with different configurations of inverters and batteries. ONYX intends to finalize the system configuration during the testing period.

The company anticipates receiving the prototypes within the next two weeks and will deploy them for testing shortly thereafter.
