October 19, 2011 — US-based PV inverter maker Solectria Renewables LLC will open a 300MW manufacturing plant in China and a 200MW factory in India, supporting sales to the local markets.

“No jobs will move out of North America and manufacturing in Massachusetts and Ontario continue to expand,” said Phil Vyhanek, president of Solectria Renewables, adding that the growth in commercial and utility-scale solar photovoltaics in India and China prompted Solectria to develop manufacturing in the regions.

Solectria Renewables is exhibiting at Solar Power International in Dallas, TX, October 18-20, 2011 in booth #1023. The company will also be at SOLARCON in Hyderabad, India (November 9-11) and SNEC in Shanghai, China (May 16-18, 2012).

Solectria Renewables LLC makes grid-tied photovoltaic inverters for residential, commercial and utility-scale solar installations. For more information, please visit www.solren.com.
