Photovoltaics module tabber debuts from P ENERGY

P.ENERGY introduced a new series of tabber & stringers TS GOLD Series, with throughputs from 300 to 600 cells per hour. The photovoltaics tabbing systems handle solar panels gently to avoid breakage, with an upgraded solder ribbon unwinding and stretching system.

(August 31, 2010)P.ENERGY introduced a new series of tabber & stringers TS GOLD Series, with throughputs from 300 to 600 cells per hour. The photovoltaics tabbing systems handle solar panels gently to avoid breakage, with an upgraded solder ribbon unwinding and stretching system.

It represents the best solution for automated PV modules assembly lines which needs high performance and high quality at the same time. Depending on production capacity, the new range of machines is composed by:

  • P.Energy TS600GOLD with a throughput of 600cells/hour,
  • P.Energy TS450GOLD with a throughput of 450cells/hour,
  • P.Energy TS300GOLD with a throughput of 300cells/hour.

The TS600GOLD tabbing & stringing machine is designed to grant a stable and continuous production with lowest breakage rate and improved uptime.

Thanks to the new concept design, the machine is easily managed and its set up is quick and affordable also to the new trainee operators. A simple and wide 15” touch screen, with finger print access,  permits to control and set up all the process parameters.

The compact structure allows easy access with a wide working space.

PV Cells are gently handled towards the different stations and checked with cameras. The process is heat controlled over the soldering station, including the unloading belt, to prevent and reduce any thermal stress.

The upgraded ribbon unwinding and stretching system permits a precise placement, avoiding bowing and misalignment.
