New York, United States [RenewableEnergyWorld.com] Aquus Energy, Inc. a provider of solar energy systems to commercial and residential customers in the Mid Atlantic and Northeastern regions of the U.S., announced the acquisitions of Mercury Solar Systems LLC and Mercury Solar LLC (together Mercury Solar Systems) based in New Rochelle, New York and Energy Enterprises Inc. based in Mays Landing, New Jersey.
Mercury Solar Systems designs, installs and maintains solar energy and related renewable energy systems for commercial and residential customers in New York and Connecticut. Mercury is a premiere SunPower solar energy systems integrator and also installs solar modules manufactured by Schuco, Sharp, Sanyo, Evergreen and UniSolar.
Energy Enterprises is also a SunPower premiere integrator and also installs solar modules manufactured by BP Solar and Sharp. Energy Enterprises is also one of the leading solar energy contractors in the State of New Jersey working through the New Jersey Clean Energy Program. Energy Enterprises has installed more than 260 solar electric systems totalling more than 2.3 megawatts of solar power.

Aquus Energy also announced the completion of its Series 1 offering of convertible preferred equity.
