Singapore, Malaysia [RenewableEnergyWorld.com] Bio Energy Plantations Pte Ltd (BEP) announced that it has signed an MOU with biodiesel producer Van Der Horst Biodiesel Pte. The agreement relates to supplying jatropha oil. Van Der Horst also agreed to join BEP in the development of a 6,000 hectare jatropha plantation in India, enabling the rapid ramp up of large scale jatropha production.
Terms and conditions of the development and agreements are subject to final negotiations, completion of formal documentation and securing all relevant regulatory approvals.
