St. Rose, Louisiana [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Louisiana Secretary of Economic Development Michael Olivier will speak at the groundbreaking event of a new biodiesel plant in the New Orleans area. The plant will be owned and managed by Renewable Energy Group, Inc. (REG). REG’s partners include International-Matex Tank Terminal (IMTT), Bunge North America and St. Charles Parish. The new plant – located on the IMTT site – is slated to produce 60 million gallons of SoyPOWER brand biodiesel each year and will add 25 new jobs to the New Orleans area.
