Amtech Systems, Inc. has received more than $16.5 million in solar orders over the last 12 months for diffusion processing systems for the solar cell industry. Included in that total are recent orders of $4.1 million, all from new Asia-based customers and not previously announced. For the fiscal 2007 year to date, Amtech has received approximately $9.8 million of solar orders. Amtech expects the $4.1 million in new orders to ship in approximately six months.
