Foster City, California [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] SolarCity, a community- wide installer of solar systems, has completed two cooperative solar power programs to accelerate the migration to renewable energy sources. In Mountain View and Woodside, California, residents together subscribed to 557 kilowatts (kW) of renewable, neighborhood-produced energy during the six-week program, which completed on April 30. SolarCity will complete installation on all the homes this summer. The Collective Power Program is a model for increasing residential and commercial solar power, having attracted a total of 934 kW worth of solar installations to date.
