Tempe, Arizona [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Amtech Systems, Inc., a global supplier of production and automation systems and related supplies for the manufacture of semiconductors, solar cells and wafers, announced a new order totaling approximately $1.9 million for thermal processing and automation systems from the solar cell industry. For the fiscal 2007 year to date, Amtech has received approximately $5.8 million of solar orders, including this most recent order. The order is a follow-on order from an Asian-based customer and is expected to ship in the fiscal quarter ending September 30, 2007.
