Offshore Wind Proposal Gains Fans in Delaware

[National Public Radio] On a windy, spring day at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, Peter Mandelstam is thinking about using the wind to build what could be the nation’s first and largest offshore wind farm. Public concerns about global warming are helping him sell his ambitious $2 billion project. His company, Bluewater Wind, is one of three bidders in a Delaware competition that is showing how climate change is influencing Americans’ decisions about how they want their electricity generated.
