Ralos Wins 2.3 MW PV Contract in East Germany

Ralos group is to deliver a large-scale photovoltaic (PV) installation of a solar farm with a total capacity of 2.3 megawatts (MW) in Tagewerben, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, and will handle project management and installation works.

“We are glad that our concept of standardization of systems technology and modularization of project delivery makes large-scale photovoltaic projects possible,” said Guenter Schoelzl, director at Ralos said after winning the contract, “even in times of sinking feed-in tariffs. As in 2006 we are expecting to deliver further large scale projects in Germany next year.” This is not the first large-scale project for the German solar solutions company. In 2003, Ralos delivered a 5 MW roof-mounted installation on a logistics center in the German town of Buerstadt. Ralos has offices in the North, the South and central Germany, as well as companies in Spain, Italy and the UK.
