Mahwah, New Jersey [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Sharp Electronics Corporation, the marketing and sales subsidiary of Japan’s Sharp Corporation, has been named a winner of the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) “SmartWay Excellence Award,” which recognizes transportation and manufacturing companies that succeeded in reducing emissions of air pollutants and greenhouse gases.

Sharp was the only consumer electronics company to receive the award, which was announced at the 14th Annual National Association of Environmental Management Forum.
