Green Bay, Wisconsin [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] WPS Resources Corporation announced that its nonregulated subsidiary, WPS Energy Services, Inc., has agreed to sell WPS Niagara Generation, LLC to a subsidiary of US Renewables Group, LLC for $30.2 million. WPS Niagara Generation owns the 53-megawatt Niagara Falls generation facility located in the Niagara Mohawk Frontier region in Niagara Falls, New York. The sale is subject to certain working capital and other post-closing adjustments. The proposed sale is subject to Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and New York State Public Service Commission approvals. Closing is expected in the first quarter of 2007.
