Vermont Wind Project Rejected by State Regulators

[Times Argus] A wind power project in East Haven, the first of several proposed in the state, has been turned down by the Public Service Board largely because the developers failed to detail whether it would harm birds and bats. However the board rejected claims the proposal would harmfully impact surrounding public lands, which cheered proponents who feared such a finding would shut the door on all wind projects in the state. That decision will likely be final, unless developers appeal the decision to the Vermont Supreme Court.
