New York, New York [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Green Energy Resources received a trial order from a United Kingdom utility for approximately 50,000 tons of woodchips; shipment is set for the order, whose value exceeds $2.5 million dollars, for November 2006. The buyer (name withheld) is seeking to receive approximately 500,000 tons annually (10 shipments per year) for five years. Green Energy Resources plans to make the initial shipment from Houston, Texas. Green Energy Resources attributes the order to the extensive contacts made at last month’s Europe 2006 Biomass Conference in London.
