[RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Nevada Geothermal Power’s (NGP) power proposal submitted in June 2005 to Sierra Pacific Power and Nevada Power in response to a Request for Proposals (RFP) by the jointly owned Nevada utilities was favorably reviewed and designated Tier 1 status, which means that NGP will have an opportunity to negotiate a contract with the utility based on its proposal to supply 30 MW of power to the utilities.
