[JCNewswire] Sharp will boost its solar cell production capacity of its Katsuragi plant in Nara Prefecture. Plans announced on October 31 call for investing 4 billion yen ($34 mil) to give an additional 85 MW to the plant’s capacity, increasing annual power generation to 500 MW, the world’s largest.
