[RenewableEnergyAccess.com] US Renewables Group, a newly formed company operating renewable energy assets, is restarting a geothermal electricity facility that has long gone untapped in the Geysers region of California. The Geysers is one of the most active geothermal fields in the world. To move ahead with its geothermal plans, US Renewables has acquired the facility’s owner, Bottle Rock Power Corporation. The announcement comes just a week after US Renewables raised $80 million to fund renewable energy projects, and it serves as an example of the company’s plans to invest in and operate renewable energy projects.
