[RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Colin Murchie, Legislative Director of the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) traveled to Albany, New York last week to participate in the implementation of the long-delayed customer-sited portion of the state RPS, which will provide several million dollars annually for distributed PV, small wind, and fuel cells. With input from PV Division Chair Jeff Wolfe, as well as NYSEIA and DayStar Technologies, SEIA advocated for increased funding for PV and a more certain and transparent allocation process. The trade group anticipate that this process will be completed by the end of the year, and that New York will experience a substantial increase in funding for solar rebates.
