A school in Northern Michigan is looking into the possibility of installed a wind turbine that would help offset the school’s energy needs and could also be used to charge up an electric bus, according to the Record-Eagle. The work plan approved by the school board this month outlines tasks for the first phase, which include reviewing wind data, studying economic feasibility, and examining regional permitting and siting issues. After that phase, projected to take about three months, the TCAPS board will decide whether to proceed with the next phase of the project.
