[RenewableEnergyAccess.com] The House Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Caucus and the Environmental and Energy Study Institute (EESI) will hold a Congressional briefing this Friday, April 15, 2005 on renewable energy policy issues before the Congress. The briefing will include dialog about the Administration’s FY 2006 budget request for renewable energy R&D investments and technology deployment initiatives. This briefing — taking place at 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Room 210, Cannon House Office Building — is the second of a two-part series examining the role of energy efficiency and renewable energy resources and technologies in the federal budget and in major energy policy discussions. In the coming weeks, the House and Senate will be dealing with appropriations and renewable energy policy issues that have been part of the debate over comprehensive energy legislation. House committees have been marking up a comprehensive energy bill and the Senate plans to take up their energy legislation shortly.
