December 17, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] Miami Beach, Florida-based global holding organization, Universal Communication Systems (UCSY), has reached agreement with the shareholders of Girasolar BV, the Dutch holding company encompassing the photovoltaic (PV) companies Stroomwerk Energy (SWE) and Solar Service Buro (SSB), for the acquisition of the outstanding shares of Girasolar BV. According to Girasolar BV President Wielard Koonstra his group has exceeded its previously projected revenues and profits for the year 2003, and is now slated to close out the year with over US$25 million in revenues and over $1 million in net profits. The negotiations were successfully concluded in Amsterdam with the signing of a detailed Memorandum Of Understanding.
