November 17, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] According to reports from the Cape Cod Times, the head of the main opposition group to proposed 420 MW Cape Wind farm off Nantucket has stepped down. Issac Rosen, executive director of the Alliance to protect Nantucket Sound, said he would be moving on to spend more time with his family. Susan Nickerson, who served as head of the Association to Preserve Cape Cod for 11 years, will be his replacement. The change was apparently initiated by Rosen who cited his two years as the director had been a long enough commitment at a post which required a high level of intensity.
