Aussie Wind Project Receives Turbines

July 7, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] Australian Wind Technology, which is 100 percent owned by the Vestas Group, has received a turnkey contract for deliveries to the Lake Bonney Wind Farm project. The contract comprises 46 units of Vestas V66 1.75 MW turbines, remote monitoring system, foundations, electrical and civil infrastructure as well as operation and maintenance of the power plant. The 80.5 MW project is scheduled for completion in the beginning of 2005 and will be located near Millicent in South Australia.
