April 17, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] Following the resolution of the German Federal Government to support the initiative for the establishment of an “International Renewable Energy Agency” (IRENA) the Manager of Eurosolar MS Irm Pontenagel gave it his utmost support. IRENA would be the first official political step on the way to the establishment of a new international government organization that would concentrate fully and completely on the promotion of the renewable energies.
