March 14, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] Continental Ridge Resources shareholders have approved the acquisition of Blue Mountain Power Company Inc. by an overwhelming majority at an extraordinary general meeting held Feb. 28, 2003. Blue Mountain Power Company shareholders have also approved the transaction, which still requires regulatory approval. Continental Ridge will acquire 100 percent the Blue Mountain geothermal project in Humboldt county, Nevada, and the Rose Creek geothermal project, by issuing 5.5 million shares. The company expects to be able to take advantage of Nevada’s favorable Renewable Energy legislation.
