November 1, 2002 [SolarAccess.com] Genencor International, announced it has made significant technological progress toward the company’s second-year goal on a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) contract supporting an economically-viable enzymatic process for converting biomass to ethanol. The contract is managed through DOE’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colorado.
