October 7, 2002 [SolarAccess.com] The University of Colorado at Boulder and Crowder College tied for first place in the Engineering Design results announced last week at the U. S. Department of Energy’s Solar Decathlon. Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University took the second highest number of points and the University of Maryland placed third. With these latest contest results, and results from ongoing contests, the University of Colorado at Boulder remains in first, Auburn University holds on to second, and the University of Maryland remains in third.
