May 16, 2002 [SolarAccess.com] A trash-burning power plant, consisting of two furnaces and a power generator with an installed generating capacity of 25 MW, is to be constructed in Beijing, China. The plant will cost 680 million yuan (US$81.93 million) of which, $US45 million U.S. dollars will be covered by loans provided by the government of Spain.
